It is an amazing book that traces the history of how an insect called Grana Cochinilla harvested in Souther Mexico in the state of Oaxaca changed the textile industry in Venice and the world in the 1500s! It is a historical account...at a point in history the Grana Cochinilla was more valuable by weight in gold! Hope you find it and love it!
